MASTERCLASS - The DNA of an Ideal Process

MASTERCLASS - The DNA of an Ideal Process

Masterclass - DNA of an Ideal Process

DNANo matter where you work, regardless of industry or who the customer is, no matter how manual or automated your company is, value-added work is always completed in a process. OPEX, Lean and Six Sigma are concerned with optimising these processes and their outcomes to eliminate waste and variation to provide maximum value to the customers. But a system that is waste free with no variation is mostly unachievable or unsustainable, and is vulnerable to changes in customer preferences over time.

Processes, like living things, must evolve over time to continue to be successful. Perfect processes CAN'T be designed, they must be evolved. But we can identify the DNA, the building blocks of the ideal process that will help our processes to evolve more quickly. Join us as we discuss and debate what some of those building blocks are. We will discuss such points as:
Perfect Practice
  • How customers relate to the DNA
  • The importance of people
  • The Dynamics of Simplicity
  • Agreed goals and measures that promote evolution
  • Creating a shared dream of an "Ideal State"
  • Forced evolution through Kaizen Events
