SIRF Roundtables presents
Industrial Maintenance Roundtable
Common Interest Workgroup
Planning & Scheduling
Hosted by CS Energy

SIRF Roundtables in Queensland comprises in excess of 40 progressive organisations that network and share their best practices in a peer to peer learning environment, specialising in Operational Excellence and Industrial Maintenance Asset Management.

‘Common Interest Work Group’ (CIWG) events are for technical specialists looking to discuss with peers, specific topics they are working on, in and around their field of excellence.

Effective planning and scheduling is the core of a well functioning maintenance team. Its success often relies on good integration with  key systems outside of the maintenance department; especially operations, purchasing and stores.

Planning determines the what, how, duration, equipment and resource requirements for a work order. Scheduling determines when and who completes the  task.

Doing these effectively can significantly increase resource efficiency, plant reliability and reduce maintenance and production costs by reducing future breakdowns.

CIWG participants are invited to identify specific issues for discussion on the day.
