Contractor Management

Contractor Management

Contractor Management

MaintenanceWhether it is due to warranty-work or planned maintenance or breakdown repair, nearly every company has to manage external contractors sometimes. 'Contractor management' implies a system that manages contractors' health and safety information, insurance information, contracts, training programs and other specific documents that pertain to the contractor and your company. Some modern contracts require the effective use of contract management software to aid administration between the multiple parties.

Effective contractor management can be the difference between these contractors saving you money or costing more than doing it yourself.  Join your peers as we discuss the safety and management of contractors. We may discuss such points as:
Contractor Management
  • Who do you define as a contractor
  • Contractor induction and safety Requirements
  • Where is the line between too few and too many?
  • Long term vs one off contractors
  • Ownership of Safety Issues
  • Cost savings calculations
