Risk Management CIWG and Site Tour ! Proudly hosted by Engie Loy Yang B Power Station

EngieThe Australian Standard defines Risk simply as "the effect
of uncertainty on objectives" ...so how are you managing these ?

Risks can come from so many different sources, how are you understanding and guaging what your risks are to then ensure that the uncertainty of meeting your objectives are "avoided, reduced,
removed or modified and/or retained" ?

When managing risk are you creating and protecting value ? Is your risk management an integral part of organisational processes ? Is it part of your decision making ? Does it explicitly deal with uncertainties ? ... Is it based on the best available information... ?does your risk management take into account human and cultural factors?...

Loy Yang B power station recently completed a detailed review of their Risk management systems and are keen to understand what others are doing and how risk is managed by others.
