MASTERCLASS - Total Productive Maintenance

MASTERCLASS - Total Productive Maintenance

Masterclass - Total Productive Maintenance

HoldenIf Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) came with a motto, it would be "Enhance the volume of the production, employee morale and job satisfaction while reducing overall maintenance costs." Sounds great, right? So why isn't everyone already doing it?

Well, the key is in that first word, "Total". There are eight pillars to TPM, built on a foundation of 5S and teamwork, and at least half of the pillars really won't get off the ground until the operators begin to "own" the equipment that they use to do their job every day.

Join your peers in this unique discussion of TPM systems. We will discuss such points as:
Total Productive Maintenance
  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Visual Management and Autonomous Maintenance
  • Quality Maintenance
  • TPM steering committees
  • Gradually 'growing' operator involvement
  • Results of the program to date.
