SIRF Roundtables in Queensland currently comprises in excess of 40 progressive organisations that are willing to network and share their best practices in a peer to peer learning environment, specialising in Operational Excellence and Industrial Maintenance.

‘Common Interest Work Group’ (CIWG) events are for technical specialists looking to discuss with peers, specific topics they are working on, in and around their field of excellence.
With an ageing workforce succession planning will become a key activity for all employers moving forward as will skill diversification.

Succession planning is about building a talent pool, across all aspects of the leadership and key role spectrum. We must develop the the talent pool to be able to fill roles as they become available, with the best talent being utilised for the greater good of the organisation.

Join your peers to discuss their approaches to succession planning, employee development plans etc.
Topics and discussions for the day will be based around:

 - Identifying key roles and future role requirements
 - Defining competencies
 - Creating the talent pool
 - Developing planned activities and development schedules
 - Developing a skills matrix
 - Retaining the talent
