SCRt CIWG - Goods Inward

SIRF Roundtables presents
Supply Chain Roundtable
Common Interest Workgroup
Goods Inward
Host to be advised
SIRF Roundtables in Queensland currently comprises in excess of 40 progressive organisations that are willing to network and share their best practices in a peer to peer learning environment, specialising in Operational Excellence and Industrial Maintenance.

‘Common Interest Work Group’ (CIWG) events are for technical specialists looking to discuss with peers, specific topics they are working on, in and around their field of excellence.
There are so many challenges on a daily basis for your goods inward professional; identification of products, quality, unscheduled deliveries, poor paperwork, safety, resourcing, packaging, not to mention transport
You also have the complexity of different business sectors handling this area very differently, and also the size of the organisation, usually determines the amount of investment in technologies etc. to assist in the process.

So how do we bring all this together, to ensure all departments receive great service and the products they are expecting?

In this CIWG event we will focus on:
- The key issues goods inwards are facing, and impacts?
- Rigid systems versus creating the right culture?
- Key measures for driving efficiency
- Layout options for efficiency & safety
- How can technology assist us?

This event is ideal for:
Professionals from goods inward, warehousing, CI, supply chain or anyone looking to share a great story of improvement in this area
