Practical Leadership for Young Leaders

This program is a unique cluster delivery leadership program that provides practical skills in key leadership areas, using visits to different sites and exposures to different leaders as one of the core techniques.
Course Outcomes:

- In-sights into what makes a great leader
- Exposure to site leaders concerning their leadership successes and failures, including quality presentations and question time
- Practical workshops in a CIWG format which ensures "Peer to Peer" learning from other young leaders on the course coming from a diversity of backgrounds
- Practical exercises that involves participant’s to ensure the experience is remembered
- Ongoing learning and networking

Course Content:

- Leaders V Managers
- Change Management
- Employee Engagement
- Giving and receiving feedback - performance management
- Developing a strategy/plan
- Structure/planning and time management

Delivery model:

- Single day, once a month held on different sites over 6 months
- Attendees from a number of different companies
- One to three participants per company
- Individual & company must commit to whole course

Time: 7:45 for an 8:00 start, concluding at 15:00
