Establishing the Correlation between Reliability & Profit

Host to be confirmed

SIRF Roundtables in New South Wales currently comprises in excess of 40 progressive organisations that are willing to network and share their best practices in a peer to peer learning environment, specialising in Operational Excellence and Industrial Maintenance.

The ‘Common Interest Work Group’ (CIWG) events are for operators/technical specialists looking to discuss with peers, specific topics they are working on, in and around their field of excellence.

Corporations that historically focus solely on profits typically put pressure on their maintenance departments to reduce their costs.  On the surface the logic is sound, each dollar not spent on maintenance is another dollar of profit.  But this is very short term.

Senior business leaders and maintenance teams want the same thing, failure free operations.

The relationship between maintenance and reliability is directional.  If enough pressure is applied, activities that improve reliability like preventive and predictive maintenance will be curtailed with the result being even higher maintenance costs and lower asset reliability.

In this CIWG we will discuss this relationship as well as methods to communicate effectively to those in charge of the finances so asset reliability is not impacted.

This event is ideal for:

Asset Managers, Maintenance, Production and CI leaders.
