CIWG and Site Tour ! Major Hazard Facility Maintenance and Management - Proudly hosted by Melbourne Water

Melbourne WaterMajor hazard facilities (MHFs) are industrial sites that store, handle or process large quantities of hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods, including petroleum products.

Examples include:
•    Oil refineries
•    Major Utilities
•    Chemical manufacturing sites
•    Gas-processing plants
•    LPG facilities
•    Some warehouses and transport depots

Melbourne Water's Eastern Treatment Plant is a very interesting facility and are kindly hosting this session to share their learnings  with just going through the re registration as a MHF. Come along and join your peers where each company can present what they are doing to maintain and comply with their MHF rating and what this means to business. This will be a great opportunity to see what others have done in this area and to protect their facility and rating.

Come along to this event and discuss topics like:
MHF
•    What constitutes a MHF rating for each company
•    System to maintain, manage and administer
•    Meeting legislative requirements
•    Where can we get help from an authority
•    Where can we get expertize from outside
•    Does our rating make sense compared to other companies?
•    Documentation, Stores/parts/inventory links
•    Should we be rated as a MHF
