The importance of skills training
SIRF Rt is a member based organisation that brings people from organisations together to learn from each other about "Best Practice" for operational excellence. This process has revealed a great deal about what makes some organisations perform well while others struggle.

A willingness to provide skills training for their workforce differentiates excellent organisations and those who struggle. Lean Rt provides training based on "worked solutions" for people in organisations who want training that leads to tangible results through the application of ideas in a practical way, without re-inventing the wheel.

Leaders in best practice organisations understand that their system is only as strong as the weakest link in their value chain and take a whole of business approach to developing their people. We also take a whole of site approach and work at both the strategic level providing Implementation Coaching for senior leadership and practical certificate training for frontline leaders and workers.

Competitive Manufacturing Training
Often leaders of businesses understand the benefits of developing their people and yet are faced with constraints that prevent them from fully committing to putting in the enablers required to become a best practice organisation. LEAN Rt understand this and have the ability to assist by bringing in additional resources to your business.

The principal way we do this for our manufacturing customers is through Competitive Manufacturing Training. The training we offer is designed for frontline leadership and shopfloor workers. It is an 18 month to 2 year training program that is government funded for eligible participants. Our training plan is designed for maximum impact with minimum disruption to production because our trainers are from Manufacturing Operations backgrounds and understand the conflicting demands faced by leaders in manufacturing. How to find the time for improvement when you are pushed to achieve today's production targets. Find out more

Our Mission
Our Mission is to assist with the long term sustainability of manufacturing in Australia by helping to develop businesses that have achieved and sustained operational excellence.

Operational Excellence
To achieve Operational Excellence you must develop an understanding in all of your people, across every division of your business, that they have two jobs - Day to Day production and improving the business for the future.
