Motor Spares

Some attendee organizations such as Blue Circle kept a spares for all important motors. Other organizations kept spares where the risk of failure was high or if an insurance spare was required due to very long delivery times. It was suggested that with the resources boom is increasing demand for motors and the delivery times for motors has generally increase. Also with the increase of lean thinking approaches suppliers are now tending to hold less or sometimes no stock of particular motors.
